Park Ridge is a residential and rural outer suburb of Brisbane, Australia, about 28km south of the city centre. The suburb is over 100 years old and originally settled by timber cutters in the 1880s. The area was originally called Logan Ridge, as it was part of the Logan Reserve and Browns Plains. Park Ridge was renamed in 1895. Its current name reflects the rich history and culture of the area.
Park Ridge is home to several parks and outdoor recreation areas. Check this out.

Carvers Park
The Carvers Park is a great new addition to Park Ridge here in Queensland. There is plenty of space for kids of all ages to play while the adults relax in the shade. You will adore the 1km loop track in this park that will take you to each of the three different playgrounds as well as fitness equipment and barbeques.
